Collective Employment law & Employee participation

Works councils come in all shapes and sizes. They can act on a scale from extremely co-operative down to systematically counterproductive. We set up works councils, provide assistance throughout their elections, draft rules of procedure and offer advice when the works council's prior consultation or approval is required in particular issues. Our services in collective employment law also include extensive experience in the harmonisation of employment conditions, for example, during takeovers. We can assist with collective bargaining and give clear advice on the continued effect of a collective bargaining agreement, the position of independent employees and other related issues.
